II6 Presenting most honorable daughter, Kay Rotyf' Ha-a-a . . . ha-a-a-a . . . ha-a-a . . . ha-a. 'flust don't fool with me again, Skinny Legs! Seniors Appear Amid Colorful Sets As the play begins, the Honorable Roty is upset. His eldest daughter, Kay Roty, refuses to get married. ln desperation he decides that since tomorrow is her birth- day, she will wear a dress for the first time. The market on Grand Avenue is humming as the day begins. Two American teachers enter, arguing violently. Soon Kay Roty and her father enter, also arguing. Suddenly their rickshaw runs over one of the Americans. To make up for the accident, the Honorable Roty invites them to Kay's birthday party. The party is in full swing by the time the Americans arrive. Suddenly everyone is dumbfounded as Kay enters wearing her first dress. After moments of con- fusion, Kay rushes to the man of her dreams, and the Honorable Roty leads the general rejoicing. Tokyo ! You'd never believe I got this hat for ten cents ..
