DR. and MRS. A. F. HENDRICKS It is through long years of dedicated service of Christian professors that young people have opportu- nities for real growth. Five members of Wingate College faculty have given 133 years of service to the sixty- year-old institution. Mrs. Ruth Horton, business education, 26 years; Dr. C. C. Burris, president emeritus and professor of English, 38 years; Mrs. Carolyn Caldwell Gaddy, social studies, 25 years; Dr. A. F. Hendricks, mathematics and now professor emeritus, 28 years; Miss Helen Cowsert, language, 16 years. These faculty members have been with Wingate through the years of the depression and are now still enjoying their work as they see Wingate grow.
