We make our entrances and exits with smiling faces because our lines are few and funny, and we are pro- gressing in our performance. Our practices are flled either with learning funny names, silly dates, or hearing our instructor say, I believe you will have to do that over again. We sleep through rehearsals, laugh at our failures, speak at the wrong time, get the material mixed up, miss the cue, and forget the lines. Then act hy act we are learning when to come and go, when to speak and what to say. Our mistakes are fewer and our lines are longer. We realize that soon we will he in a drama with new and different roles.
