By coordinating work done in the department, an at- tractive home-living apartment was soon ready for use. New curtains, slip covers, Navajo rugs, house- hold linens and remodeled furniture are some of the items produced. The girls have used this apart- ment for parties, teas and company meals. Every girl in the department has had instruction and experience in operating and caring for the modern electric appliances in the department. The girls displayed many attractive garments made in sewing classes in a pre-Easter assembly pro- gram. Foods classes have planned, prepared and served well balanced family meals.
