To the Pirate Staff, Superintendent, Faculty and other personnel of Winfield City School. This has been the first opportunity for me to serve as your principal. It has been a wonderful experience and I covet your continued friendship, influence, leadership and co-operation. To you who plan to continue your education, may I say that you are living in the most opportune, yet demanding time since the dawn of civilization. We believe that nowhere is the youth of America given a better laboratory for the preparation of life than in our present day school system. You have the opportunity to anything in life you desire. To you who have completed your formal education we hope that you have prepared yourself well to meet the challenges of society. To be successful in choosing a career you must know both your suength and weakness, and use them to your advantage. May the future hold the best for each of you. Principal DALE BE ASHER
