SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Thirteen years ago last fall, twelve of our present twenty members entered Winfield Consolidated School under the direction of Miss Sally Bonaham Their names were as follows Rose Bates, Pat Johnson, Janeen Mathews, Mark McCre1ght, Gwyn Meeker, Barbara Perrenoud, Wylie Rickey, Virginia Ross, Janet Royer, lalsinger The class proceeded to Miss Beebout and there were Berger entered second grade Wright Cummings The class Janet Huston, to the fourth fifth under the guidance of Dean Steffins, Virgil Stockman, and Donna the first grade under the instruction of no new members Phyllis Hewitt and Bill which was under the leadership of Mrs Vey moved through the third grade under Mrs with Miss Martha Brausher, and on to the Mrs Veva Kreiger Brimhall with no further changes Mrs Brimhall then sent us on to Mrs Mergurite Steinhaus where Richard Beard was to be a classmate Our seventh grade year was spent with Mrs Wilma Wooley McAllister, and at this time Ervin Berkshire entered our class our present graduating class membership was helped along in the eighth grade by the addition of Dean Davis and Elmer Howard Sixteen members of the 'class of 52' received their eighth grade diplomas from Miss Fern Anderson ne then proceeded through our Freshman and Sophomore years with no additional members, but lost B111 Berger when he entered the Navy, It wasn't until our Junior year that two new classmates, Donald and Mary Kobs, joined us Elmer Howard left us to join the Marines I our Senior year, Marion Shupe became a member of our class The sponsors and officers for our four high school years were Fresh an Year Sponsor President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Student Council Sophomore Year Sponsor President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Junior Year Sponsors President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Student Council Senior Year Sponsors President Vice President 45 Secretary Treasurer Student Council Mr Lloyd Janet Royer Dean Davis Elmer Howard Ervin Berkshire Mr Rew Virgil Stocaman Ervin Berkshire Pat Johnson Dean Steffins Mrs Bartow Mr Herman Pat Johnson Janeen Mathews Gwyn Meeker Donna Walsinger Janet Royer Wylie Rickey Miss Benson Mr Rew Janeen Mathews Dean Steffina Ervin Berkshire Dean Davis Marion Shupe Virgil Stockman .r-'fha e 0 n Student Council- ---- ------- --------------- ----Dean Davis ,M R'
