Q Senior I-ligh Y-Teen The purpose of the Y-Teen and Girl Reserves is to create and maintain the Christian way of life and to serve others. The name Y-Teen was decided upon by the National Girl Reserves Organization last summer and was adopted by the local club as the official name. Highlight of the year was the lvlother-Daughter banquet held Feb. 25 with Mrs. Howard Yoder as guest speaker. The theme of the banquet was Our Hearts Are Young and Gay. 'The Y-Teen conference was held at Moline Dec. 2. Nine girls attended from Win- field. Cabinet members were Joan Martin, president: Betty Brown, vicefpresident: Lois McNeil, secretary: and Donna Alley, treasurer. Other cabinet members were Janet Yoder, Rosalind Griffelh, Bertye Askins, Clau- dine Briles, Patty Coad, Pat Lawrence, Darlene Reece, Mary Knapp, Lois Atkinson, Billie Lou Carrell, Illene McDaniel, Charlotte Mossman, and Lilajane Hiatt. Sponsors are Miss Ruth DeTurk, Miss Helen Baker, Miss Thelma Bussard, Miss Edna Schul. Miss Agnes Lake. Miss Lucy Headrick. Miss Grace Karr, and Miss Helen Johnson. Q Junior l-ligh Girl Reserves The Junior High Girl Reserves Dad-Daughter banquet was held Oct. 24. Installation of officers was held at a tea at which time the girls entertained their mothers. Officers were Carolyn Fulton, presidentg Helen Sturm, vice-president: Veda Hall, secretary: and Bernita Ohm, treasurer. Other officers were Kay Roberts, Darlene Cullumber, Betty Priest, Jacqueline Snell, Marilyn Buffum, Shirley Craig, and Martha Jean Brant. Girl Reserves sponsors were Mrs. Robert Hanna, Miss Willma Tullis, Miss Anna Lois Burdette. Mrs. Mark Keith. Miss Lucy Hunter. Miss Nina Heller. and Mrs. Earl Dungan. Prrrm ff?
