T I A is This year the fence decorating was in full swing. On Thursday students stayed after school to decorate the fences on chicken wire in the gym. On Friday they were moved outside to be judged. The four classes put a lot of hard work and effort into their fence. At the game the winner was an- nounced. The class of 1987 won for the third consecutive year. BRINGS NEW MISS WINFIELD Homecoming helped to begin the new school year at WHS. The excitement started with flower parties, planning activities and voting for the court. It continued with decorating fences and cars, until finally, The moment weTve all been waiting for.. T Crystal Miller was crowned 1985 Miss Win- field General by board member, Harold Summers and 1985 Homecoming Queen, Heather Gray. The Junior Class won the fence decorating con- test with their ,TAm- bush the Indians theme. The evening was topped off by the Generals defeat of the Sissonville Indians T35-m .
