This was the first time that they competed in this particular festival. They won first place in the show choir division and were named outstand- ing choir of the day. Not all the time was spent competing. After leaving Winfield at 3:00 AM, the bus arrived in Nashville at noon. During their stay, the members participated in many activities including, a river boat cruise, a banquet, and a dance. They also visited Opryland. All that went will agree that the trip was a great success. General Admission Director, Cheryl Jividen Barnett displays one of the awards won at the Heritage Music Festival. Winners 155
