Weiford The eighth annual Academic Festival, spon- sored by the Search Committee On Recruitment of Excellent Students eS.C.O.R.E.SJ , was held on March 8, at Marshall University. Winners from Winfield were Steve Eshenaur, first place in Criminal Trial; Mark Femia, second in Vocal Performance; Jody Card, second in Pastels; and Tammy White, third in Math II. Students competed in over one hundred tests in eight departments.
