Preszderzt Richard Hara ey Vzee Preszdent Alvin Cypher Seeretary Earl Bauman Treasurer Robert Schoentag Reporter Earl Wetrel Watchdog Anthony Klabnlk A chicken dinner was held on lNovember 12 with the fathers of the boys as their guests Addl tional guests were members of the Winfield Township School Board members of the Agriculture Ad vlsorv Committee and others who have aided the F F A attend during sale day this coming year In January the F I A attended the West Penn Power Company plant at Springdale Penna 'VIuch was learned about how the electricltv we usels produced A Rural Lrban banquet and program under the auspices of the Butler Rotary Club was attended bv ll junior and Senior members of the F P X Rotarians and F P A members alike hope that it w1ll become an annual event A program of work was adopted by the Chapter which necessitated a larger treasury balance In order to accomplish this a turkev was raffled off for Thanksgiwlng Christmas cards and an assort ment of all occasion cards were sold to raise money Another method used to raise money was the holding of a moyie at the high school Further plans for mcreaslng the treasury during the summer months include the raising of 4 shoats growing five acres of husking corn and growing an acre of potatoes Plans are being made to attend the annual Tri Ccunty F F A Jamboree at Slippery Rock in April A leadership training school for new officers and competitlxe judging exents will be held for two days and will be open to teams from Lawrence Beayer and Butler counties It is our aim to increase our service to self school and community by completing the items on our program of work Fzrsfrow Vlretzel Schoentag Cypher Harvey Second row Vhse F eehlmg Russel Wir Snyder Bouch Alderson 'Nlxttica F.
