CLASS l-IISTCRY XVe the Senxor Class of 1946 have had a pleasant as well as a benel1c1al t1me durlng our four years IH Hrgh School As freshmen and a l1ttle blt green we started out 1n the fall of 1942 w1th an enrollment of 70 students Our home room teachers were Mxss Hughes and Mr Nemec YVe elected offxcers and got th1ngs golng after many blunders and mlstakes WVe had skatlng partres and other act1v1t1es durlng the year By the end of our f1rst vear we understood the rules and regulatlons At least we knew them whether we obeyed them or not Kathryn Rummel and Marxon XVISC were elected as attendants to the May ueen Back agaxn but th1s t1me to start our Sophomore year Tlus year there werent many act1y1t1es only a skatxng party now and then V1olet Moser and NIHTIOII NV1se were attendants to the May ueen from our class School bells rang agam IH 1944 and thxs tlme we started ln as unlors YVe had qurte a few act1y1t1es one of the xmportant ones was our frrst successful dance at whlch we made a good proht to start our class fund a rollxng At last our dream came true lVe started the years of 1949 46 as Sen1ors It certamly was our busrest vear but ll was well worth xt all We began the year by startlng the f1fSl year book 111 the school hxstory and also selected an Alma M xter wrrtten by a sophomore Hay worth Walker Several partxes and dances were held 1n our last year 'Ihe school board well attended and eyeryone enjoyed themselves They were the hrst dances to be held m the school The tlme has come that we must depart and well have to admlt we hate to leave We ve had our tr1als and tr1bulat1ons but we ye also had many enjoyable tlmes to be treasured as cherlshed memorles YVe only hope that the classes to follow w1ll keep up the good work we ve started DON T TAKE MY PENNY Comedy 1n three acts by Anne Coulter Martens was presented by the Senlor Class on May 5 1946 'Ihe cast was as follows Sally Ruth Fox Norman Porter Tom Hamllton Penn Margaret Moore Caleb Stanley Langston Mark Ted Baer Mavrs Beverley Hesselgesser Lyd1a Martha Hamllton Joanna Dorxs Blcker Kerry Dlck Cunnmgham Greg Drck YVood Gram Esther McCall Clalre V1olet Nloser Elsie Vxola Jabolonskl Luclle Marlon XVISC Red joe YVeber Harrlson Day 1m Mlttlca Monsleur Henrl Jxm Slmpson Y ! v D A 1 f Y- ' Y l .
