The Windthorst Chapter of the Future Homemakers of Arne rica was organizedin the fall of 1956 by Miss Jean Kainer Know Mrs. John Englishj our homemaking teacher of that year. Club officers were elected that year, and meetings were held monthly. By means of a talent show they raised some money to buy some needed equipment for the homemaking department. The club was reorganized in Sept. 1957 with Martha Zotz, senior, president, Mary Catherine Wolf, Sophomore, Vice president, Helen Wolf, junior, secretary, Adelaide Veitenheimer, junior, historian, Betty Jo Lerner, junior, song leader. HOMEMAKER F H A BEAU Kenneth Ray Wolf, son of Mr. 8: Mrs. Sylvester Wolf was chosen F,H,A, Beau. Eleanor Berend, daughter of Mr. 81 Mrs. A. J. Berend, was named Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. Eleanor was chosen on the basis of acompetitive examination. She ranked highest among the senior girls, all of whom took the test in December.
