Whether one is part of an orchestra or a sports team, a certain degree of harmony must be established to achieve a peak performance. Both the musician and the athlete need to create a balance within his or her group. In every aspect of our lives, this element of cooperation is necessary to reach our mutual goals. When a task seems insurmountable or a job unbearable, if we have others working with us we can pool our skills and accomplish what once appeared to be impossible. Through working together as editors, we have learned the importance of cooperation. We learned to listen to individual views, to understand the reasoning behind them, and finally to reach a compromise satisfying all involved. As we look back on all we ' ve done together, from being doubles partners for four years to being editors of the Herald, we feel a great sense of pride and accomplishment. Looking ahead, we realize that we will build new relationships, while working together with new friends to reach new goals. Editors
