During this scholastic competition, our inspiration and endurance hove propelled us toward one milestone in our lives — high school graduation. Throughout the race, we hove token great core to pace ourselves and to adjust our strides in anticipation of the final lop. She came with the Youth for Understanding (YFU) Organization, which albws 500 Finnish students to come to America each year. Eeva made many friends in school, especially through her par¬ ticipation in field hockey, indoor track, tennis, and chorus. Although she misses her family and friends, she says the people here have made it easier for her to feel at home. Eeva will miss her new friends in Windsor Locks, but, when she leaves in July, she will take many happy memories with her. Eeva, it is hard to say goodbye. We will surely miss you. Moi! Class of ' 84 Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, ond it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.
