EDITORIAL COMMENT When we started out in WLHS we were unsure of ourselves and our dreams. We found it necessary to reach out for assistance to help for¬ mulate our goals. As our time here grows shorter, we have begun to extend ourselves into the world so that we might further our hopes and successfully aci complish our dreams. Although we have en¬ countered trying times, we now hold our share of memories filled with laughter and joy. We realize that it was our individual integrity and ambition that made our years here complete and successful. I would like to wish each member of the 1983 graduating class a prosperous and rewarding future. Good luck and God Bless. Up to now, we have been dependent upon others for guidance, advice and a sense of direction for our lives. Our parents were always there to offer en¬ couragement to try new things even if we might not succeed. Teachers, clergy and friends were within reach for moral support, career choices and just to listen when we had a problem. We realize it is now time for us to be strong enough to make our own decisions and accept responsibility for them. Graduation is a major turning point in our lives. It is not the end, but rather a new beginning. It is a chance for us to say “Thank you” to all those who have helped us and to make them proud of what we have become. -Q buruda 16 Page
