He may wander about seeking his identity and purpose in life, but at some point he realizes the meaning of his life, establishes a goal, and strives to attain it. Upon its achievem ent, he is at peace with himself and the world. And others, silently, or making their voices heard, embark on their journeys. No two journeys are the same but each may lead to a common inner peace and self-satisfac¬ tion. Although many choose to travel alone, others seek companionship. But companions, too, must eventually part and travel alone, for each has his separate dream to fulfill. We, the class of 1977, are about to embark on our own journeys in life. Many of us will set out silent and alone like the solitary leaf, others will set out together making their voices heard. No two journeys will be the same, although the place of embarkation, Windsor Locks High School, is common to all. And we can only hope that each of us will discover his purpose in life, strive to attain the goals he establishes, and find peace and self-satisfaction knowing he has done his best. VO Page
