The Palace of Sleep, right, was the center attraction for the Latin Banquet. The theme for the banquet, Orcus, was based on the Underworld. The poppy, flower of sleep, was used as table decorations, as well as covering the bed in the Palace of Sleep. A volcano, a three-headed dog, and a bridge over the River Styx were central decorations adding to the atmosphere of the evening. tb W3 1 so s Tk g Je B HW.. Latin II class consists mainly of translat- ing Latin into English and learning correct sentence construction.
