Welcome to the 1984 Pow Wow! In our four years of high school, we spend 724 out of 1460 days in “the old brick prison.” We share a lot in those four years: everything from dates, friends, classes, and smiles to laugh- ter and tears. When we leave, we will always have these memories. We have put these ideas together in the book this year in hope that, when you look through your yearbook twenty years from now, you will be able to remember these events as if they were happening all over again. You can tell your children all about “Mr. G” or about the basketball game of the year. We hope that when you flip through the pages, all the memories of 1984 come to mind. We know we didn’t catch them all, but here are just a few of the moments “All in A Year’s Time.” Get a job! Instant replay. A tribute to the seniors. Your momma dresses you funny Yea. Rah! Snaps 3

Dedication for Mr. Seng Mr. Seng held many positions in the faculty of Windsor High School. He began work here in 1951 and continued until he retired at the end of the school year in 1983. He went from teaching chemistry, biology, general science and physics as well as holding the position of assistant coach for both the basketball and baseball teams to serv- ing as principal and finally superintendent. His work was never ending, and he spent countless even- ings after school to attend to it. He also attended all the extracurricular activities of the school, home and away, that were possible. As the school finances grew smaller and smaller, he struggled to keep the budget under control in an ever-changing school system. To Mr. Seng we owe a lot of the continuity of our school policies. He was always willing to listen to ideas of how things could be improved. Having an open mind is a very important quality for an administrator to possess; it enables him to look at situa- tions from many different viewpoints. Mr. Seng possessed this and many other characteristics that made him an able administrator. W'e looked to Mr. Seng for leadership and guidance for many years, and it will be difficult without him to lead the way. Fortunately, he left the school in such an organized condition that his successor will be able to manage well. We. the Pow-Wow Staff of 1983-84, would like to thank Mr. Seng for the years that he gave to this school and its students. We would also like to tell him that all of his work was deeply appreciated and will be for many years to come. Finally we would like to wish him happiness and luck during his new “leisure” time; may he enjoy it. 4 Dedication for Mr. Seng
