Seng, finished the season with 15 wins and five losses, winning their last 11 games, High scorer was Bill Ed- wards. The Freshmen won nine of their 10 games played. In the Freshman-Sophomore N.T. Tourna- ment, the Windsor team placed second. After defeating Cowden and Brownstown, they were defeated by Teutopolis in an overtime 66-63. Finley. me ' 17429 , High point in the 1956-57 season was the winning of the District Tournament. In the final game Windsor defeated Bethany by a score of 66 to 50. Jim Edwards led the scoring with 27 points. Windsor defeated Atwood 59 to 49 in their first game of the tournament. The season record was 17 wins and 12 losses. In regular season conference play the Blue Devils fin- ished with a .500 percentage, winning six and losing six. In other tournament play Windsor brought home a second-and a third-place trophy. ln the N.T.C. tourney Windsor, defeated in the final game by St. Anthony, won the second-place award. After being defeated in the semi-final game by Shelbyville in the Shelby Cowity Tourney, the Windsor quintet de- feated S-S 50 to 41 to win third place. They were defeated by a strong Villa Grove team in the Regional. High scorers for the season were Bouck with 354 points, Grabb with 320, Walker with 285, J. Edwards with 234, Krietemeier with 222, and Stirrett with 131. Seniors who will be missed next year by Coaches Buchanan and Seng are Bouck, Cole, J. Edwards, L. Edwards, Finley, Phipps, Stirrett, and Walker. Lettermen who will return to form a nucleus for next year's squad are B. Edwards, Grabb, and Kriete- meier. During the season they won a total of five games while losing three. This re- cord ne.tted them a tie for second in the National Trail conference. Seniors on this year's squad who will be missed next year are Larry Bouck, shortstop, Gary Cooper and Jim Edwards, who alternated at right field, Don Doehring, pitcher, Dwayne Helton, outfield, Pat Phipps, second base, and Earl Walker, center field. Underclassmen who played regularly and who will return to form a nucleus for next year's squad are James Doehring and Larry Grabb, who played first base, David Goddard, who alternated in the field and at first, Larry Helton, left field, Gordon Krietemeier, catcher, and Bill Edwards, third base.
