The book deals with Central New York State's part in the revolution, stressing Onaquaqa as a base of operation for the Indians and' the Tories. A Originally her interest was not in writing -a book. As she puts 'itz I spent four years C1965-19693, with the Old Onaquaqa Historical Society.- My initial interest was directed toward an effort to get agstate historic site. I believed peopleof this area needed to know about their surround- ing area years ago. - M f ' Marjory, a librarian: and an active member in the Broome County Historical Society lias published two books for this organization. Thei first being, ANNALS OF BINGHAMTON, the first recorded history of Broome County. She also pub1ished,.and was one of the editors of, HISf TORIC ARCHITECTURE OF BROOME COUNTY. - Y g Mrs. Hinman has written and coordinated Bicentennial Minutesffor Channel 12. The minutes started January First and will continue to be shown locally, daily, throygh 1976. Also credited to 'her accomplishe ments is a documentary for WSKG TV. A We, the student body of Windsor Central School know her as thesmil- ing face in the high school office.
