DAVID CAMPBELL, ROBERT HOFELANDER, JAMES GRIFFIN, IN DEDICATION The class of 1983 would like to dedicate the 1983 Eagle yearbook to David Campbell, James Griffin, and Robert Hofflander. These three teachers have given a tota- of 92 years to the education of students. David Campbell began his teaching career in 1950 in Windom, but before he could complete the year, he was drafted and spent two years in the Adjutant General's School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He returned to Windom in 1953 and taught various mathematics courses and business courses. James Griffin started his teaching career in Dell Rapids, South Dakota. Later, he taught in Medford, Iowa, and came to Windom in 1956. He taught a variety of courses — English, German, psycology, and social studies. In 1951, Robert Hofflander started his teaching career in Blackduck, Minnesota. He came to Windom in 1954 and taught various science courses and was instrumental in the development of the school's environmental center. He was the director of the center for many years. The class of '83 says thank you for your service and dedication to the students of Windom. Good luck to each of you!
