The play centered around Mrs. McThing, who had changed the normal Howay, played by Barry Amundson, into a stick boy. Mrs. Larue, being an average mother, decided to find the truth behind the rumor that Howay was working in a pool hall. The events that followed were funny. At the pool hall you met three normal gangsters, a chef, a waiter, a sweet mother, and a little girl named Mimi. The end was climaxed by the destruction of the sticks and the reuniting of a happy family. The sets were great, costumes were fantastic and lighting superb. The Junior Class thanks the director Mrs. Hoffmeister, the set directors, Mr. Marth and Mr. Johnson, and everyone that made the play possible. We also thank the public which made the play a success. Today has been wonderful varied activities at times seeming to approach Impossible but carried out successfully! Today has been decorating building sets and acting for the first time. Today has been an experience positive negative often enriching sometimes disappointing. Now we find that our today has become a year. We have only now to prepare and then find our tomorrow within ourselves. 16
