Our team was lacking in her t and size but handled the ball well and never gave up until the frnalwhistle blew One of our most thrilling games was with North Fanmn who defeated us by a score of 42 41 It was a close game all the way Another thriller was with Dodd City in which the Tigers won by a score of 38 33 High pomt man for the season was Truitt Suiter who has scored over 200 points The second h' score man was Joe Sparks with over 115 points Third high score man was Billy White who scored over 100 points in his record. Congratulations are due our coach, Bill Roberts, for his untiring efforts. He has had many handicaps which were unavoidable, such as irregular attendance and short school days. We admit that his team has often been outclassed, but he has brought out good sports- manship among the boys which is the most important outcome in any sport, The team of next year will feel keenly the loss of five outstand- ing players among the Tigers, They are White, Orr, Suiter, Grissom, and Crossland, seniors of 1954. We sincerely hope that our Tigers of next year will have a very successful season. Here's wishing you the best of luck.
