In 1945 they adopted the name of Future Homemakers of America as the official name of the organization. To be eligible for F. H. A. , one must have at least one year of home economics. Membership is entirely voluntary. The officers of the Windham High Chapter, Future Homemakers of America are Gloria St. Pierre, presidentg Donna Beveridge, vice president: Nancy Lowell, secretary: and Joan Ingalls, treasurer. Windham is the district F of the Cumberland-York area. Theresa St. Pierre was elected chairman of the F district at the annual meeting in Kennebunk. Next year the meeting will be held in Windham.
