These are lhe Things 'rhaf make a person, especially a classmafe, remembered as a real friend and pal. We have a very hard lask achieved when we have lived up 'ro our classma+e's example and l'm sure +ha+ every member of 'rhe class of '48 will lry his besl. I heard fhe bus driver remark one day as Elwood gof off +he bus, l don r know anyone in Windham who doesn'+ like Elwood. Do you? And all 'rhe sludenls lhere immediafely hasn'+ an enemy in +he world. This small 'rribule is much less 'rhan he deserves and in no small parl were his parenfs responsible for his kind, well mannered, willing ways. They deserve a nole of praise for fheir unfiring eliforf in 'reaching him lhe kind of person lo be, and 'rheir unsellish efforls in leading him in The way of God.
