The Cafeteria . The High School Cafereria opened in Sepiember in ihe Cenier Grammar School and iunciioned un'ril rhe end of Ocrober, when ii was closed by voie of 'rhe +own. The high school siudenis and Cenrer School s+uden+s are carried by bus ar noon +o rhe Friends' School Cafeferia, where Mrs. Edna Mains, rhe cook al Friends', has prepared many iempiing meals. Price of The meals is Sl.OO a weelc. All school lunches +hroughou+ lhe iown are super- vised by Miss Buzzell, Home Economics feacher. This includes planning menus, purchas- ing food, and dislribuling lhe food io The cafeferia. We all hope 'rhal' fhis proiecf will confinue. Our New Agriculture Teacher Mr. Charles Delano, our new Agriculiure ieacher, comes from Buclcspori, Maine. Mr. Delano aH'ended secondary schools a+ Easiern Maine Conference Seminary, was graduaied in l'-733. He siudied a+ fhe Universiiy of Maine where he was graduaied in !937, wiih a B.S. degree in Agricullural Economics. He also aiiended summer sessions for 6 years. Afrer devoiing one year ar Harvard College, he enrered lhe service for ihree years, where he was a Communicaiion Oriicer of fhe Unired Slales Navy. Mr. Delano has iaughi a+ Oakiield High School for six years, and Hodgclon for fwo years. He is fhe coach of ihe Junior Varsiiy Baskeiball feam, and advisor of ihe Fuiure Farmers of America. New England Music Festival Windham High School is lorlunare ihis year in being represenied in ihe New England Music Fesfival Concerl held al Soulh Poriland, April 8-I l. Eleanore Davis is a member ol ihe All New England High School Orcheslra, and Theo Wallace, a member of lhe All New England Chorus. These members were selecled from high schools fhrough- ouf New England, being chosen by lhe local supervisor who does Training on music selec- +ions before The All New England Chorus and Orcheslra rehearsals. A choice is lhen made by The New England Orcheslra and Chorus manager. The chorus direcfor was Charles Woodbury of Keene, N. H., and +he orcheslra direclor, Alberf Wassell of Worcesler, Mass. F uurteen.

We appreciaTe The help she has given us, and we all hope she will reTurn nexT year. Our New Commercial Teacher Miss Bernice Edwards was born in Raymond, Maine. She aTTended Gorham STaTe Teachers College and Bliss Business College. She TaughT aT Penne-ll lnsTiTuTe, Gray, before she came To Windham. Miss Edwards has been a greaT asseT To The school. She is liked by all The sTudenTs and we hope she will sTay wiTh us. Our New Music Teacher Our new music Teacher, Mrs. lda Rich, was born aT ATkinson, New Hampshire, She aTTended Normal School in PlymouTh, New Hampshire: Keene and Hyanis, MassachuseTTs. She also aTTended SmiTh College and Lassell Junior College. She TaughT music aT Old Orchard, Cape ElizabeTh and BridgTon and also TaughT in MassachuseTTs and New Hampshire. She has been very helpTul in our music work and deserves a greai' deal of Thanks. Sixzeen
