The team had one of the most difficult schedules. Teams we played proved to be some of the state's best combinations. Led by Co-Captains Don Sayers and Charlie Coriaty the squad developed fast and played many brilliant contests at home and away. Highlights of the season were the thrilling games with New London Bulkeley, later State and New England Champs, East Hartford, Hartford Bulkeley, Norwich and the Alumni. The play of Sayers, Brown, Coriaty and several of the sophomores stood out. We ended our season with a 7 won, 11 lost record. Donald Sayers was voted the most valuable player award, Burton Brown won the Foul Shooting Award, Herman Calderado received the j.V. Award. Putnam Tech ..................
