We sold refreshments at two basketball games and sponsored a movie. Our Valentine Dance was one of the outstanding dances of the year. We kept our reputation in the magazine campaign and again emerged on top. This time we won a Nnavy goatn. Of course, the biggest event of the year was the Junior Prom. lass of 1947 Class Colors: Green and White Class Flower: White Carnation Class Motto 'Hodie Non Cras' Sophomore Class activities for the year began with the Hallowe'en dance held October 31. This proved to be a social and financial success. We took part in the magazine campaign and the scrap paper drive, and bought war stamps each Friday. Twice during the year we had charge of the dancing and 'furnished refreshments for the basketball enthusiasts. Class Activities Night the Sophomores dressed in the class colors, green and white. The boys lost to the Freshmen boys in the final basketball game, and the girls emerged in last place in their basketball games. In April, we presented an afternoon movie entitled 'Hollywood Cowboyn. We ordered our class rings in January and eagerly anticipate their arrival next fall. This year we have discovered that each member of the class has found his place and that we function more cooperatively. If we profit by the mistakes of former years, we should emerge as a Junior Class capable of assuming its proper role in high school life.
