Ioe Reade. ., lonathaa Se dgewie-l' Juanita Murray lliane Melville Carl Durham Mary Gunning Re be eca Meyncke This two hour comedy farce takes place in the front yard and on the porch of the resl- dence of Fdward Homey in a small Middle Western town. Fdward Homey .eturning from a hard days work at his store demands of his wife Martha that there be peace and quiet in his home because Ionathan Sedgewick a Representative of the Grocers Association is coming to see his plans for a new plastice method of canning. If Sedgewick likes the plans the family will be sitting pretty . However Sedgewick is eccen- tric. He has a particular phobia against bugs insects and animals of all sorts. Mrs. Homey tries to have the pe ace and quie t demanded by he r husband but the Homey children their friends a bug-collecting uncle and an escaped lion a distracted Italian Zoo keeper a pie-making neighbor a maid and other distractions make it almost impossible. However just short of wrecking Mr. Homeys inventf and his mind the play ends ham ily.
