CLYDE E. BOUNDS A good staff of conscientious, capable teachers, a school board devoted to the best interests of the educational develop- ment of the youth, a co-operative group of parents and public-minded citizens, and a group of industrious students all working together make up the fine school system that we have in the Windber Area Joint Schools. Clyde E. Bounds l 1 The pressure of the modern world puts a premium on education. Without educa- tion there would be no progress, and we would be lost in the world of today. A greater value is put on education today because of new developments and man's progress in the space age. Education is more important than ever before. Educa- tion is a continuous process. All are capa- ble of doing something. Develop that particular talent, liking, choice, prefer- ence, hereditary trait or self-disciplined action. Effort will bring results. Ernest B. Cassler 4 ERNEST B. CASSLER
