SHAFFER Guidance Counselor junior High Football Coach Student Council Advisor National Honor Society A high school student has a limited knowledge of the many vocations and fields of work into which he or she may enter. This is why it is not easy to make the right choice when deciding upon a vocation. The right vocation should be chosen while in high schoolg therefore it is the responsi- laility of the guidance counselor to assist students in making this decision. Our guidance counselor attempts to acquaint students with the various vocations. Mr. Shaffer helps each student to dis- cover his own qualifications and abilities which would tit a desired vocation. Vocational guidance is extremely helpful in directing and guiding the students into the right vocation. Also, our guid- ance counselor aids students to choose colleges. HILMA C.
