A blindfold withholds the secret that the squirming worms you are forced to eat is iust a string of spaghetti, that the slimy swamp water that you have to drink is only flour and water, that the eyeball you manage to gulp down is only a grape. Steady, my friend, for All's Well That Ends Well, and there's real food and good fellowship after the fuss and furor dies down and you are a full- fledged member. The Student Council will continue to make rules for the stu- dents to break, the stage crew will go on setting the stage for plays and as- semblies, the Hi-Y will keep right on playing basketball, new disc jockeys will replace Ray Baker and Ken Solden, a new M. C, will eventually replace Alvin Maxwell, etc. One thing is sure, and that is that no one is indispens- able, no matter how valuable his ser- vice has been. But this yearbook will become the only true authentic source for recall- ing the things that were and those that might have been-in these, the best years of our lives.
