Jimmy Cannon sets ONE OF SCHEHERAZADE'S THOUSAND NIGHTS In the genie filled atmosphere of the auditorium, we thrilled to the Arabian Night magic of our prom. Jimmy Cannon's Orches- tra set the mood as we danced in an Alad- din lamp lit scene of old Bagdad. The hour of eleven saw an addition to our dance, Shade's orchestraless Junior-Senior prom- ers. Our doors open sesamed in welcome and good school spirit. Time and place faded away in this enchanted spot and soon we summoned our magic carpets to soar to Ali Baba's hide-away. But we found that the witching hour was upon us. Our magic car- pets became once more the faithful ialopies of our seemingly distant past, and home- ward we drove in a more prosaic manner. Steady, my friend, for All's Well That Ends Well, and there's real food and good fellowship after the fuss and furor dies down and you are a full- fledged member.
