We see John with a violin lif he doesn't get his hair cut.l Marlene Wildeson leaves her swell personality to Ducky McNulty, and has ioined the ranks of the women in white. She still thinks undertakers are the best solution for the problem of communists. Shirley Wingard wills her quietness to Nila Fitzsimmons.'She is now attending camera school to get a better view on Kolak films. Marilyn Wright plans to become a nurse, but we think she will be cooking three meals a day. She wills her driving ability to Miss Carroll. Victor Zack wills his position as President of the Hi-Y to Ronald Blyler. We see Vic as part owner of the G. 8. Z. store. William Zepka wills his custom-designed Chevy to anyone who wants to haul it away. He is now owner of Station J.A. N. on Seventeenth Street. Forty Eugene Ott leaves his teasing and flirting nature to Mary Eleanor Washko. He is now making a cool million on his recipe for Smice Cream. Steve Pipon wills his out-right speeches to some future student of Miss Santucci's class. Steve is one of the wealthiest .men in Windber, but no one has ever seen him work. Mary Lou Rillo leaves her knowledge of latest song hits to Mary Ann Drillock. Mary Lou is now head nurse at Windber Hospital. June Saylor leaves those geometrical brains to Grace Bassel. The Genie sees June as an assistant to A. Einstein on heavenly structures. Shirley Snyder wills her height to Joan Wargo. Shirley will be going in training to be a nurse. Bruce Statler wills his curly hair to Bill Marfizo. Bruce is still taking things easy and riding around in his Cadillac-1905 model. Jean Studnary wills her blue-rimmed glasses to Mrs. Reagan so she won't be reaching for that red stamp. We see Jean manufacturing admits for all those turtle-speed Juniors. Barbara Stull wills her quiz-kid technique to Darlene Marsh. She's going to Hollywood to teach Fred Astaire to dance. Virginia Trevorrow still likes Bills-but can't tell which one. She wills her permanent wave to Jimmy Voytko. Dick Vargo wills his wrestling ability to Walter Stopko. In the future his sparring partner will be Gorgeous George. Ronald Varner will probably be a Pennsylvania historian. He wills his intelligence in P. O. D. to a brain pool for the Junior Class. Rose Virgenock, Peggy Wargo and Evelyn Wilt, THE Chin Gang of Room 2ll, leave Mrs. Shaffer in peace. They are now, of course, talking their husbands to death, too. Steve Wasil is now selling spare parts as they fall off that car of his. He says business is picking up. To W. H. S., he left his books lof coursel. Dolores Weaver willingly gives her high score in the Pennsylvania test to any Junior who is lucky enough to deserve it. The Genie tells us that Dolores will be the Farmer's Daughter in a movie. Don Weaver will give his car to anyone who has a hundred dollars. We see Don owning the Barnum and Bailey, Ringling Brothers Circus. Rita Weaver wills her giggles to all giddy Freshmen. She's now making her husband plow a straight furrow. Henry Renaldi wills those Toscanini gestures to Jimmy Gillespie. He is still chief grease monkey at Whalley's garage-in fact he can make a Ford sound like a Cadillac any time-when its horn is blowing. Mariorie Holman is consulting Beatrice Fairfax, Dorothy Dix and Bill Zepka on the question of Which One Shall I Choose? She wills her Canadian Mounty technique to anyone who needs a date for the next dance. Emily Hunter, better known as 'Cookie, is leaving those flashing skates to all cushion-wearers. She is now after Sonia's laurels. Ralph Jennings wills his skill in building cedar chests to George Streletz. ln the future, we find him a foreman in his own wood-shop. Ronald Statler wills the ghoulish laughter of the Man With the Weird Beard to Joe for use in lunch hour discipline. He is singing his way through life on bass notes that pay off in treble value. Bernadine Swansinger wills her quietness to Barbara Kovach. She is now writing long books. Betty Tengeres wills her ability to get out of room 2ll to Catherine Yanik. Betty still can't make up her mind about the man she wants to marry. LaRue Thompson is leaving her skates to Regina Blasko. Gee, doesn't LaRue look nice in a nurse's uniform? Betty White is not leaving Henry to anyone. She's taking him with her. ln the future, we see Betty happily married. Gloria Yocca is still hanging out at Mom's Lunch. She wills her list of out-of-town acquaintances to Baby Cardone. Thomas Sharpe wills his day dreaming ability to Thomas Zepka. Tom is now a keen football coach -naturally. Edward Uhats is still managing a football and basketball team, assisting Dr. I. Q., making im- promptu speeches and using that Dale Carnegie technique on people so successfully that the Genie says he'll soon be building balconies on the White House. He leaves his nick- name, Spanky , to anyone who needs it. And so the Class of 1950 departs to seek its fame and fortune lBoston papers please copyl. HAMBLEH5 ROW' ROW ROVV ROVV ROVV ROXN' The T949 edition of Windber High School's football squad proved to be the best for many years. The Ramblers showed that they were a team to be feared after trampling Shade Township in their opening game. The team, built around four returning lettenmen, came out on top against Altoona and Aliquippa in thrilling games. Coach John Kawchak's men traveled to Johnstown for their annual game. After the final whistle had blown, the Ramblers walked off the field with an astonishingly easy victory. Adams Township, a iinx for Windber in the past, was also trampled under. Link Younker's touchdown on ci fourth period punt return gave Windber a l2-6 victory over the previously undefeated Conemaugh Township Indians. Visions of an undefeated season were shattered when the Iron Horses from Conemaugh High School surprised the Ramblers 26-0. After the loss, the team easily brushed aside Punxsutawney and Meadville before battling Johns- town Catholic High to a scoreless deadlock in the final game ol: the season. Due credit must be given to such standouts as Ronald Younker, Paul Komar, and An- thony Campitell, but it was the team as a unit that brought eight victories to the school against ci lone defeat and a single tie. FIGHT PUH W.H.S. 1 The 1949 football season ushered in a lot of new's -new stadium, new concessions, new dressing rooms, new programs, etc. But it was the same old Windber spirit that kept the crowds, thousands strong, at the games, rain or shine. To football-minded Windber, the new sto- dium was the realization of ci dream. The 1947 STYLUS asked the question: Which STYLUS will record the stadium's completion? So, we, the class of 1950, are proud that it is our class that can do so. ALEX ATTY Coach Ninety Eight The 1950 wrestling season proved that it takes several years to produce a wrestling team. ln contests with schools that have had the sport for several years, Windber lost outp but in con- tests with schools where the mat men were in their first year's bouts, Windber came out the winner. Next year's team will have veterans fro.m two years' training who should be able to give a good account of themselves with other seasoned wrestlers. SENIOR WRESTLERS E. Ott, Enoch. P. Komar.
