Colors--Navy blue and light blue Flower--Mum CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1963 our class entered the halls of Win-Co-Hi. Donnie Campbell was elected president with Bill Brackett as vice-president, and Martha Pate as secretary-treasurer. Our sponsors were Mrs. Simpson and Mrs. Willsey. Back again for our sophomore year, we elected Christine Rolf as president; Brenda Coats, vice-president; and Janet Wyatt, secretary-tre asurer. Our junior year proved to be the busiest yet. Magazine sales brought a total of $2,290. The following spring, plans were begun for our Prom, Roman Holiday . On May 5, at the Blackhawk Restaurant the Junior-Senior banquet was held; entertainment was supplied by Lance and Zane Steckel. The formal dance followed with music by the Lyn Symons Band. The Junior officers were: president, John Grey; vice-president, Shirley Dolen; secretary, Janet Wyatt; treasurer, Jack Baird. Our sponsors that year were Mrs. Willsey, Mrs. Simpson, and Mr. Taylor. Sixty-six seniors entered the halls of Win-Co-Hi in September 1967 to complete their high school careers. The year was a busy one with senior activities including homecoming, work on the yearbook, and plans for college and the future. Shirley Dolen was crowned homecoming queen at the dance which was held on the night following the game. The month of September was a busy onej magazine sales brought in a total of $2,424 for the class. The Juniors were represented in the homecoming parade by their float entitled: We Left the Spartans Defenseless. Achievement tests and preparation for the prom brought the Juniors close to their final year at Win-Co-High. Continued success to the Class of '69! SEASON'S SUMMARY The Winchester Wildcats had a discouraging season with a record of 3 wins, 13 losses. Several games were lost by only a few points because of a low percentage of free throws made, including the game with Griggsville in the tournament with a score of 59--58. The Junior Varsity record was 2--15. The Freshmen team had a record of 5 wins to 6 losses and won third place in the Winchester Freshman Tournament. The Sophomores won 6 and lost 2. They won first place in the IVC Conference Tournament. Both of their losses were to Pittsfield.
