Class officers chosen were Randy Banner president, Peggy Edwards vice president, Gary Rumple secretary, and Janice Harper Student Council member. In the sophomore year they again elected Randy Banner as president. Phebe Lawshe was vice president, Tom Hubble was secretary and treasurer, and Janice Harper served as Student Council representative. By this time several of the class were participating in the band, chorus, and athletics. The junior year began with the selection of the '55 class rings. The magazine sales amounted to $1746 with Nancy Ring and Randy Banner as co-chairmen of the drive. The juniors had the honor of having their candidate Doris Wells chosen as Homecoming queen. An Hawaiian theme was used for the Junior-Senior Prom. The auditorium was filled for the junior class play Three Blind Dates. Class officers for the year were Randy Banner president, Eva Jo McDonald vice president, and Retha Northrop secretary and treasurer. The class sponsors for the first three years were Mr. Corrie and Miss Priest. In the senior year Randy Banner began his fourth year as class president. Gary Rumple was elected vice president, Janice Harper secretary, and Stephen Redshaw treasurer. Student Council members were Eva Jo McDonald and Janice Harper. Miss Priest became the annual adviser while Mr. Corrie and Mrs. Glossop served as class sponsors. During the four years several members dropped out of school. The class suffered its greatest loss through the accidental deaths of Gary Rumple and Richard Benton in November 1954. The senior play, Junior-Senior Prom, Baccalaureate, and Commencement completed the activities of the class of 1955. 10 Seniors GARY HURRELBRINK I Wanta Be Hugged to Death.
