The organization belongs to Quill and Scroll and also the Pacific Slope Press. This makes five years of membership in both associations BAND---Left to right: Sharol Clark, Mary Miller, Vonda Hartwig, Dick Flores, Wally Gra- ham, Mr. York, Douglas Krause, Penny Creswell, Donna Nash, Fred Fox, Barbara Wilsey, Echo Woodruff. Organized this year of 1954 under the supervision of L, W. York the band made definite progress. A public concert was given on April 9.

CHORUS---Left to right: Mrs. Peterson, Myrna Hartwig, Maxine Stearns, Carroll Moffitt, Bar bara Grant Edna Mae Graham, Phylis Bloom, Beverly LeBert, Sharon Sullivan, Maris Baker, Delores Flores, Barbara Rush, Dick Flores, Doug Peterson, David Fowler, Clarmon Ash, Wanda Hartwig, Peachie Rush, Joan Stephens, Millie Davis, Ethel Millage, Jeannie Hodnett, Sandra McRae, Carole Vann, Marie Stanton, Louise Cason, and Vaunda Peterson. HIUSIC IS FUN The chorus had a very successful year under the direction of Mrs. Margaret Peterson who was in her first year of teach- ing here. The activities they took part in were: Singing for the Presbyterian Churc'h on Family Night, November 13, special Thanksgiving November ZZ, and Easter Service April 18. They sang at the Christmas program December ZZ, and a mixed group sang at the Lewis Clark Hotel for the Nezperce Farm Loan As- sociation Luncheon March Z3. They took in two festivals. The Prarie Festival March 27, and the District Festival at Lewiston April 30, and May 1 and Z. A triple Triad went to Grangeville March 17, and sang for the St. Patricks party.
