CHEERLEADERS S31 ±1 Al ID V KING WAYNE DOM ANN QUEEN SHARON BURK HOMECOMING 1965 18 QUEEN SHARON AND KING WAYNE Mary Bergin and John Huston HOMECOMING During the half-time of the Winchester versus Troy football game which was held October 22, 1965, the King and Queen of the 1965 foot- ball season were announced. Queen Sharon Burk and her attendants Mary Bergin and Connie Norris were escorted onto the football field in a 1966 Chevrolet convertible driven by Mr. Steve Wylie. They were met on the field by King Wayne Domann and his attendants John Huston and Steve Robertson. Queen Sharon was crowned by King Wayne and presented with a bouquet of red roses. The Crown Bearer was Terry Noll and the Flower Bearer was Eddie Noll. Following the foot- ball game a dance was held in honor of the 1965 Home- coming King and Queen and their attendants. The theme of the dance was Harvest Moon. All students and Alumni of Winchester High School were invited to the Homecoming Dance.
