Business Before Pleasure Many of the students at Winchester High are also part-time workers. Some work for the responsibility and the chal¬ lenge, while others work to finance their economic needs. Although the hours are long and tiring, most students find satis¬ faction in having a job. Pilar Von Lazar works ' for the money and because it teaches me to be responsible.” With col¬ lege just around the corner, students’ jobs become more essential than ever. Some students choose to save a portion of their salary for their education, but the majority of the moon-lighters” work merely for pocket money. As the weekend comes to an end, so does the supply of cash earned in the previous week.
