4H Aloha! Wave Freshmen Amy Derry, Colleen O Connor, and Leslie Pedulla at their first high school dance. Spirited Seniors, Hannah Riley and Sharon Fitzger¬ ald show their enthusiam for their first event of their last year. Hawaiian Luau Together for the last fast dance were Pam Prince Getson and John Travolta Krebs. On their way out, Michael McGee and Denise Wheaton pose for a final shot to finish up a terrific night.

r — Halloween was still a month away, but the word shouted by half of Winchester High School at the Hawaiian Luau on Sept. 22 was Ghostbusters.” The dance was sponsored by the Student Union and the Youth Center, and a special D.J was hired for the occaision, Dr. Jeremy Savage from WHTT. That was not the only thing that made the dance special; the kids did too. The minute the dance contest was Jamaica No Problem? Hawaiian Luau NO problem. Scott Kessell, A1 Falcione, Eric Krussell, and Glen Richmond hang loose. Is it possible for Bill Newburn and Steve Phyllis to get baked in the sun when there is no sun? (Photos by Burlington Studio) ALOHA W.H.S.! announced, the mass of flower-patterned people came into a circle to watch the entertainment. One would be amazed at how many breakdancers there are at WHS! Some new talent was definitely dis¬ covered that evening. The enthusiam at the dance was in¬ credible. People really let loose and danced the night away (they must have been pretty thirsty — the drinks sold out in 45 minutes!). People also got pretty cre¬ ative with their costumes — there were tacky flower patterns and grass skirts, lawn chairs, and sunglasses. The Hawaiian spirit was evident not only in the costumes but the scenery: potted palms, pineapples, and bright paper flowers. Jeremy told us that we were a little wild, but that he’d had an awesome time and would love to come back. Shipwrecked? in the hall of McCall Junior High are Chris Alexander, Alison Haage and Suzanne Perlitsh. These Seniors Go Hawaiian .
