They went hiking at Mount Osceola, horseback rid¬ ing in Hingham, skiing at Can¬ non Mountain, and camping in Maine. They have some memo¬ ries of these trips that brought the students closer together and formed strong friendships: Mr. Skinder falling off his horse, running down Osceola, and HIGH ADVENTURE CLUB getting lost in WVterville. They are led by Advisor Gerry Skinder, President Kelly Shea, Vice President Greg Poulos, Treasurer Gary Ducharme, and Secretary Marisa Wolsky. Members include: Dave Budd, Margaret Hitchcock, Natalie Hill, Kathy Shao, Sinan Kobu, Rick Parker, Chris Bett, Al Fal- cione, Greg Poulos, Tom Cross, and Katrina Nelson. SKI CLUB The Ski Club, bonded by their common interest in having fun and skiing, went to Sugarloaf on January 6-8. They had excellent conditions both on and off the slopes. Outside they had all the trails and inside they had a relax¬ ing hottub and a warm fireplace. Memories include: Swampscott High, the busride, Eddie Murphy, the headwall, video arcades, and munchies. 18 Winter Cheerleaders, High Adventure Club, Ski Club

The 1983-84 winter cheer¬ leaders had a very successful season. Although there were many inexperienced cheer¬ leaders on the squad, they man¬ aged to pull through and make the best of it through a lot of hard work and practice. They cheered the hockey and basketball teams on in two different squads, one captained by Anita DiRocco, the other by Leah Manganaro. With the essential contributions and help from Advisor Kate Sullivan, this squad fulfilled their function in leading the school ' s spirit. i Ski Club, Winter Cheerleaders, High Adventure Club 19
