“I love to have my picture taken!” — Will Moore Changes ... Past In the fall of 1978, the Class of 1981 entered Winchester High School as sophomores. Leaving the security of Lynch or McCall, we were forced to adapt to our new sur¬ roundings. To our sophomore eyes the high school was large and mys¬ terious. Finding our homeroom or the gym was quite a feat. High school also brought more responsi¬ bility and more freedom. We were allowed to attend the school dances, and have open campus, but we also had a lot more expected of us by the teachers and our parents. Junior year brought on more changes. Not only did the workload increase, but the social side of life also increased. With the newly at¬ tained driver’s license freedom was easily attainable and the weekends became much more enjoyable. There was also a serious side to our junior lives. As we took the PSAT, we were practicing for “The big one” in the spring. Grades became more important and our minds wan¬ dered to senior year and beyond. In these two years we changed tre¬ mendously from little sophomores to almost seniors.
