Changes . .. Present Although college and the future are very much on our minds, it is the present which is most important to us. As seniors our biggest change is learning to enjoy our last year as a class together. As soon as the year began, we all realized that this was our last chance to do it. We would never reunite as a class next Sep¬ tember. This is it. Now. The Present. Together we prepare for our last shot at the SAT’s, fill out college applications, look for jobs, party, laugh, and enjoy each other’s com¬ pany. Time is precious to us and we have none to waste. All the laughter and sorrow must be completed by this June. We realize that we are actually almost adults and we are almost ready to go through another passage in life, graduation. But for now, the present is ours to use and to enjoy. As we face another of life’s many changes, we must prepare ourselves to face the future. The Class of 1981 changed together, and is changing together, but the changes of the future are to be met alone. Mr. Smith’s Calculus class is always fun. — Karen Feldmann, Emily Stevens 6
