Class Night The first of June was the beginning of the end; one of the last times the Class of 78 would be united. Class Night began with a buffet dinner in the cafeteria and for once, it didn ' t seem to be the WHS cafeteria food that had been part of noontime dining for the past three years. After everyone had their complete fill, the Seniors moved into the auditorium for a presentation by the class officers, and the yearbook dedication to Mr. Provinzano. Superlatives that purposely missed the yearbook were given to the recipients. The Academy award resulted in an impromptu performance by Elvis . Following the dedication and a warm acceptance speech by Mr. P., came the time to receive the long-awaited yearbooks. Looka this picture! and Will you sign my book? filled the air as the Class of ' 78 departed from the High School for the last time. 20
