ft M V 7 A R i :... .. . Their search ended unsuccessfully. No clues were brought forth. Not only were people searching the halls and in the tunnel, but also checking to find fingerprints for evidence (bottom right). Forensic methods were used to determine the cause of death, but this also proved fruitless. The faculty was really getting upset. Anyone who might look the least bit guilty was asked if they knew anything about the mysterious incident. Mr. Hedden used his physical ability to find out if “certain people knew certain things” (right). It was decided that the boys’ physical education class looked the most guilty, so therefore, they were tortured during P.E. (bottom left). These tortures were anything from Killers”, running up and down the bleachers, to wall squats. 4 — Introduction

. . . Mr. Myers had to report. Just as he was about to tell of his conclusions, an eerie feeling, almost a “spirit-like feeling came into the room. Windows broke, glass shattered, and tables shook. Since it was getting late, everyone decided that they had better go on home. The next day, the student body wondered what had happened. Mr. Gibson patrolled the halls all day (top left). Everyone was on the lookout for something suspicious. There were a few suspicious looking people in the halls. Just leaning around and not doing much work (top right). That night more spooky things started to happen. A group of people with candles started searching for clues. It was in the dead of night, but still some courageous people searched (bottom right). Two lighted candles located in the auditorium, marked the spot where everyone was to meet after they ended their search (bottom left). Introduction — 3

... The classes decided to build traps to see if they could catch someone doing the suspicious things that were happening (top middle left). Because she was acting suspicious, Cari Shaw was questioned to see if she knew anything (middle). Jill Symons was caught running away. Did she do it? No one knows. During the search, we found that the whole student body had something to do with the spirit of WC. With only a dead body, on and on went the search. The spirit will remain haunting the halls, and the spirit of the student body will always live on at WC. The following pages show how the spirit of the entire student body is expressed throughout the 1982-83 school year. 7f'r t Watching y on! Introduction — 5
