il Il Dzdrmiizm The 2004 Vestigia is dedicated to lVlr. Joseph Collins. lVlr. Collins was raised in lVlilton, IVIA. He graduated from Wash- ington University in 1987. Atter graduating, he joined the Peace Corps, serving in Hon- duras for two and a half years. He left the Peace Corps and attended the University of New IVlexico where met his wife, Susan lVlontgom- ery, and received his lVlaster's degree in Latin American Studies. lVlr. Collins began teaching at The Winchendon School in the year 2000. He has taught U.S. History, Contemporary Social Issues, and lvlodern American History. He served as Assis- tant Director of Admissions, and has coached Varsity ll Basketball and Varsity Baseball. This past year, he began the community service program at The Winchendon School and is in charge of the Student Council and the elections. Besides being a fantastic teacher and active individual in the school, he is also a family man. He and his wife Susan have three children: Danilo, who is fiveg Sammy, who is tourg and Liana, who is soon to be two.
