f f 'fi KI if NG DUTBALL DEDICATIQN Despite the fact that this is only his second year here at The Winchendon School, Mr. Richards has made a great impression on us all. Perhaps he taught your senior English class, was your varsity wrestling coach, or your E .S .L. teacher last year. Maybe he was the one who told you to clean up your room, or faked punches at you after school. He is a teacher who handles his authority well, because he hasn't forgotten what it's like to be a kid. He is the kind of teacher that you can joke with, once you get past the fresh from ROTC looks and imposing physique. Members of his wrestling team, or even those who watched a wrestling practice, will understand the kind of effort that he puts in to instill pride and self-confidence in his players. This quality also reaches over into his teaching. He works with you until you know, and are confident in your knowledge. It may not seem like it when you've missed the same vocabu- lary word four times in a row and he's ready to throttle you, but his patience as a teacher is very good.
