Girls' Basketball by Marg ie Burbee The girls' team did very well this year. They were undefeated in 19 games, making it the second timelin the history of Wilton High School that the' girls' team was undefeated. Margie Burbee was high scorer with 330, Dotty McGettigan, second,with 285, and Carole Nelson, third, with 208. In free throws, Margie Burbee was high scorer, with 415 Dotty McGettigan, second,with 335 and Carole Nelson, third,with 23. We give a lot of credit to Helen McGettigan,. forward, and Nancy Fletcher, guard, for doing to well. 4 The subs also did a fine job. They are as follows: Connie Nadeau, Betty Schmidt, Iessie Small, Brenda Draper, and Bertha Wilcox. Our two managers were the best around, .being Iune Starkweather and Sandra Lamminen. We owe our coach, Miss Lange, a lot of gratitude and thanks for all the time and effort she put toward making our team so successful. We'll never forget this past wonderful year. .
