To Miss Thompson we leave all our forensics speeches. We're glad to get rid of them. To Mr. Troug we will a better ability to hit ALL the pins when demonstrating how to bowl. To the office personnel, janitors, and cooks we leave W. H. S. in peace and quiet. I, Larry Arndt, will the ability to keep a good conversation going to Curtis Briske. Let's get talk- ing Curtis! I, Richard Arttus, will the right to be the joker in Chemistry Class to David Raabe. I, Verdell Beier, will my clowning ways to Lorrie Meacham. Let's try it Lorrie! I, Larry Berner, will my ability to Rock 'n Roll to Gerald Harmel. I, Larry Bever, will the fun that I have at parties to anyone that can take it. I, Lana Bolden, will my ability to be on the Prom and Homecoming courts to Ruth Ferris. Let's march Ruth! I, Judy Brandau, will my knack for being friendly to everyone. I, Richard Buchholz, will my basketball ability to Jim Bever. Let's get shootin' Jim! I, Linda Cox, will my big brown eyes to Beverly Bell. I hope you will be able to see things bet- ter than I did. I, Bonnie Creviston, will my red hair to Elaine Pasch. On one condition, you give your pretty black hair to me. I, Douglas Devine, will my little sister to anyone who will take good care of her. I, Helen Eckleberg, will my quietness to anyone who can be as great a pretender as I. I, Edward Fick, will my good looks to myselfg after all they do belong to me! I, Robert Granger, will my height to Adrian Nading. You need it to be a good basketball player, Adrian! I, Shirley Hericks, will all my old boyfriends to anyone who needs them, since I don't think I'll be needing them anymore. Claw flumq We began our Freshman year with 37 members. They were Larry Arndt, Richard Arttus, Larry Bever, Larry Berner, Judy Brandau, Verdell Beier, Lana Bolden, Patty Bray, Rick Buchholz, Linda Cox, Bonnie Creviston, Doug Devine, Helen Eckelberg, Ed Fick, Bob Granger, Shirley Hericks, Ted Kober- nick, Delores Kratche, Don Kruse, Sandra Larson, Larry Leitz, Larry Lydon, Barbara Marco, Roger Martin, James Meseberg, Carol Noth, Roger O'Gara, Shirley Olson, Annette O'Rourke, Don Pasch, Carolyn Purpus, Howard Sandborn, Vivian Schendel, Barbara Tillman, Jerome Von Haden, Ted Welch, and Lowell Zellmer. Patty Bray led our class as president, Larry Arndt, vice-presidentg Barbara Tillman, secretaryg Shirley Hericks, treasurer, and our advisor was Mr. McCulloch. Initiation was the big event of the year. Each student dressed as a famous person. We started our Sophomore year with 40 members, Mayland Kannenberg, Russell Krahenbuhl, and Nils Vetra joined our class. Don Pasch left after a few months of school. Officers for the year were president, Larry Arndt, vice-president, Bonnie Crevistong secretary, Judy Branclaug treasurer, Barbara Tillmang and our class advisor was Mr. McCulloch. Our Junior year left us with 35 members, Nils Vetra, Delores Kratche, Patty Bray, Barbara Till- man, Mayland Kannenberg, Carolyn Purpus, and Russell Krahenbuhl did not return. Juris Valters and Ida Whitcomb joined us. Juris Valters was president, Rick Buchholz, vice-president, Judy Brandau, secretary, Ed Fick, treasurerg and Mr. McCulloch was our advisor. Our Prom was held April 21. Ed Fick and Judy Brandau were king and queen. Larry Bever and Lana Bolden were prince and princess. The theme was Shangri-La with the Don Kaye Orchestra providing the music. Our Senior year began with 31 members. Larry Leitz, Larry Lydon, Ida Whitcomb, and Annette O'Rourke did not return. Vivian Schendel and Larry Arndt were chosen Badger boy and girl. They were also chosen Co- editors of our annual. Class officers were for the year, president, Rick Buchholzg vice-president, Leon Schindlerg secretary, Judy Brandau, treasurer, Vivian Schendel and our advisor Miss Bartol. Larry Arndt and Lana Bolden were king and queen of our Homecoming. Rick Buchholz and Vivian Schendel were prince and princess. The Cavaliers provided music for an enjoyable evening. Baccalaureate was held May 20th and we completed our education with our commencement ex- ercises on May 25. Wd! We, the Senior Class of 1962, being of sound mind and memory do hereby publish and declare this to be our last will and testimony. We hereby will the following to the underclassmen and faculty of wuton High: We, the Senior Class, will our ability to be QUIET in Social Problems Class to the Juniors. To the Sophomores we will the right to be Jolly Juniors - as we were! To the little Freshman we will the hope of being Big Seniors someday. To the incoming Freshman we will the fun and excitement of High School life. To Miss Bartol we will more willing workers on the Annual Staff next year. To Mr. Grossmann we leave our math books, bookkeeping assignments, and typewriters. In hopes that your future students will use them more. To Mr. Herman we will the power of positive thinking. May it help you to win ALL the basketball games next year. To Mr. Mayo we will a whole set of new jokes. The ones you've been telling are worn out. To Mr. Moennig we leave our band instruments and singing voices. You will need them next year! To Mr. Ray we will a new back so you can bend over and pick up your own paper. To Mrs. Smith we will a long stick so you don't have to get up to wake the boys in study hall.

Larry Arndt, our class devil, ln teasing girls loves to revel, Full of mischief is he, Always happy full of glee. Richard Arttus, a chemistry pest, Never gives Mr. Ray a rest. Telling jokes he is the best Around the girls he is full of zest. Verdell Beier, in sports is a whiz, But not so hot in taking a quiz. ln football he got banged around Spent some time lying on the ground. Larry Bever, our basketball star Always going with his car. The road to Tomah he keeps hot, And keeps his girl in her spot. Larry Berner, who likes to dance Always known to take a chance. He finds plenty uses For making excuses. Lana Bolden, our Homecoming Queen Always smiling she is seen. She keeps the boys in a whirl A very nice all around girl. Judy Brandau, quiet but OH MY: She is going strong with a certain guy, Always a smile for everyone Happy, gay, and full of fun. Rick Buchholz, quite a guy Around the girls he isn 't shy, He goes with a certain girl And she is always in a whirl. Linda Cox, a friendly lass Always keeps up with the class, In Home Ec she is a whiz And always tops in a quiz. Bonnie Creviston, a red-haired lass Keeps the laughter in our class. She's lots of fun and friendly too, And she's never sad or never blue. 7-UP BOTTLING COMPANY BURNSTEAD'S MARKET 0606 Doug Devine, our class artist In school work he tries his hardest, ln study hall he creates a fuss Where Doug is, that's a must. Helen Eckelberg, full of cheer This is Helen through the year. Somewhat quiet, somewhat shy, She'll get over it by and by, Ed Fick, our Prom King Still possesses his class ring. In class he tries to stay on top, In working hard he doesn't stop. Bob Granger, tall and thin At basketball he likes to win. He gives his girl quite a whirl She is a lucky, lucky girl. Don Kruse our class riot, ls never known to keep quiet Sometimes late for classes In the rush he breaks his glasses. Sandy Larson, always blushing, To Home Ec she's usually rushing. Smiling, happy, and full of fun She's good medicine for everyone. Barb Marco, her one ambition ls to become a beautician. Always happy with a grin Barb's got what it takes to win. Roger Martin, with no remorse, Wants to join the Air Force. His ambition is to be an M. P, We'll just have to wait and see. Jim Meseberg, our class shorty Thinks his new car is kind of sporty With his hair dark and wavy He'll go off and join the Navy.
